There are many things that we think we can’t do. We tell our selves many times, many things that may or may not go wrong. We don’t push hard enough, we don’t try often enough, and we discourage ourselves to get up fast enough.
But what if?
What if today was different?
What if I told you today was going to be filled with magic and unlimited possibilities. What if there was no limits. You could do anything you wanted. You could dream up anything your heart desires. What if you had this day to live the way you want to. What would you do? Who would you be? How would this day be different?
Well, what if?
What if you loved yourself? Really loved yourself. Your body and your mind. Unconditionally and wholeheartedly. I can sense you are already objecting, but bear with me, what if?
What if you didn’t have any guilty feelings over things you’ve done, thought of doing, or were told not to do? What if you didn’t care about making mistakes? What if you didn’t brace yourself and expect the worst to happen?
What if you lived life without your eyes closed all the time? What if you had the courage to say what you thought and didn’t care how it sounded or made you look?
What if you could walk up to anybody and be comfortable talking to them as to a friend?
What if?
And most of all why not?
What governs your life?
I think we all need to revisit sometimes why we do the things we do and why we believe what we believe. Perhaps fear is not as bad as we make it out to be. Perhaps when fear arises deep inside of us, it is an invitation to dream of infinite things. Maybe its a chance to go and experience things we’ve never felt before.
There is no reason to hold ourselves back. No reason to get sucked into gossip and to get mad at people and argue over things that in the end won’t make a fart of difference, one way or another.
You have to embrace who you are, and be kind to yourself. The person that you are is who brought you here, right here, to this very moment. You owe them everything and they deserve your respect. They deserve everything because they have done nothing less than everything they could to please you.
And what if?
What if you believed in the person that you are? What if you believed that your life was meaningful and that a lot of what you believe to be true is nothing more than casted shadows on a wall?
What if this was the beginning of something?
Don’t let this be the end of a good read. Face your fears and push them around a little.
What if you win?
