“Security is mostly a superstition.
It does not exist in nature,
nor do the children of men, as a whole experience it.
Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run,
than outright exposure.
Life is either a daring adventure,
or nothing”
Helen Keller
Nothing.
This is what’s at stake when we give into our fears.
These days we are worried about all the beautiful rain that is pouring down upon us, but we share no concern for the fact that we are on the third rock from the sun, hurling around the Milky Way galaxy with reckless abandon.
We worry about raindrops, instead of interstellar drops.
We should live our lives like the third rock from the sun.
We need to live an adventure.
At the end of you life, you want to emit one last breath of satisfaction.
Instead of one last breath of what could have been.
