Sometimes plans change and if we were honest with ourselves we would recognize that our best plans change all the time. We dream up and try to predict reality because it we don’t, we are faced with the naked reality that everything is nothing more than a made up mirage and a cruel but beautiful illusion.

This is perhaps a touch too poetic, but no matter. The fact remains that we make quick judgements about things and people. We are constantly predicting the outcome of this or that. We get nervous when things don’t go our way and this blind stubbornness, leads us to be very simple and limited.

Take a look at your surroundings for a moment. I want you to take a few seconds and count all things things that are red. Take only a few seconds but have a firm number in your mind. Be sure of it. Be confident in it. Now tell me how many yellow things you’ve observed?

A trick you say. No. This is no trick. There are so many things going on inside our mind, inside the mind of all the people we are going to meet today, and in the universal mind of all of existence. No wonder our plans change. No wonder that your typewriter has become a collectors piece, that you no longer write letters, and that we decided the two person toilet was not a good idea. Socially and in terms of cleanliness.

Your plans are going to change. There is no sense being rigid and stubborn, or spending any time bemoaning the way things that you thought were supposed to happen. Get rid of all guilt in your life. It serves little purpose.

I didn’t say forget about it, that will do nothing for you. What I mean, is that if you are feeling guilty or regretful, then you should do something about it. Don’t just sit there, crying and hoping things will change, that the world will come calling, that a magical fairy will take you to a Nightclub to meet your prince charming.

Plans change. People change. The universe in her wisdom never stands still.

Take comfort it in. Instead of getting down, or crying over how you make mistakes and you can’t get anywhere, realize that there are so many things going on around you, that you have an opportunity to begin again, each and every day, and each and every moment of your life.

We live a lot of our life in our own heads. We don’t realize that, but we spend a lot of time interpreting and predicting the world. We have to stop doing that. We have to listen to our voice of intuition. We have to seek the wisdom of others to attain the things we want to attain. We have to have a little fun.

Learn to make good plans. Work them hard, but don’t grasp on to them to tightly, like you’re suspended or hanging onto a rope.

Change your mind. Change your life.

You make your own reality. You decide how to interpret things.

Don’t abstain from this gift.

Live a little

Live on your own terms.
