Don’t ask me how it gets done because all I know somehow, bit by bloody bit whatever needs to be done gets done.

I had a very productive day yesterday. My wife was kind enough to take the kids to a Laser Tag experience in the afternoon and I had time to get to work. I worked on editing photos. I’ve edited them once quickly before but now that I need some business cards printed and other promotional material, I needed to do a better job. I had that opportunity and I am happy to report that I completed what I set out to do.

It’s amazing how many things need my attention and how many little things are connected to each other. If you don’t get the right thing done at the right time, than everything waits and doesn’t work as well as it can.

I am rebranding myself as a premiere luxury photographer which is not very easy. A big chunk of that is my mindset that I can hold my own with other great photographers in order to command a fair wage that they command. It’s not easy. Doubts spring up once in a while, but not as much as they used to. The older I get the more I have learned to appreciate the doubts. Oh, they don’t feel to good when they arise, but they are there for a reason. You don’t get fruit flies if you don’t have any fruit and the whole point of living I think is to get some fruit. Adam and Eve sure did. Oh wait, that might not be the best example!

I have also learned that the hard work will never get done and that is a mistake I have made in the past. The hard work continues and I am ready and pre-thankful for it. The website building, promotional material making time will come to an end, but the marketing, preparing and working with clients will only escalate. That is how it’s supposed to be. Life really is a journey and I have never felt more prepared for it.

I hope you’ve got your sights set on something magnificent as well. I hope you know the steps you have to take to really get there. Not in a vague way, but very specific and detailed. I hope you get to work on those dreams and that your life becomes happier right away. You see, the happiness comes in the pursuit. There is no final destination. There is always another peak that appears once you’ve reached the one you were aiming for and there is always another corner to turn. You just have to stay disciplined to keep taking those turns.
